Hayes, Golden his father and mother-in-law, Jarrell and Corene Hodges, Kansas City three sisters-in-law, Sheila McCool and Cheryl Pozin, both of Kansas City, and Janie Alvord, Valejo, Calif. He is survived by his wife, Lisa his son, Jesse McLellan, Raytown, and daughter, Chelayne Fusco and husband Chris, of Union a brother, Merton McLellan and wife LaVeta, of Wheatland his brother-in-law Larry D. He was preceded in death by his parents his sister, Marlene Hayes and his son, Allen McLellan. He loved restoring vintage vehicles, motorcycling, watching and attending NASCAR races and an occasional trip driving around the neighborhood in his 1948 Ford Tractor. He was a very generous, caring individual and would give gifts to those in need, most of the time anonymously. Jim was a kind, loving husband, father and grandfather. His last job, before retiring in 2004, was spent driving a truck for LaFarge Corporation for 18 years. He owned his own truck for a short time and worked for various other owners. Jim spent his working years as a truck driver. They moved back to Missouri in 1980 to be closer to family. Their only child, Chelayne, was born while they lived there. The first three years of their marriage, they lived in Colorado Springs, Colo. Jim was united in marriage to Lisa Kay Hodges on April 15, 1977, at Blue Ridge Baptist Temple in Kansas City, by Rev. He was most recently a member of Blue River Bible Church. He served many years on the bus ministry, bringing in hundreds of children to church safely each Sunday. Jim accepted Christ as his Savior, December 1976 at Blue Ridge Baptist Temple. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with Valor and the Bronze Star for heroism in the Republic of Vietnam. He was inducted into the Army in December 1966 and served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne from 1967 to 1968. He grew up in Raytown and graduated from Raytown South High School in 1964. He was the youngest son of Wayne Charles and Edith Alleen (Williams) McLellan. 20, 2008, at his home in Belton, after a sudden onset of acute leukemia. James Charles McLellan "Jim Mac," 61, died Feb.
